A selection of our frames for 2009. Our framing service is optional, we are quite happy to supply prints unframed. If you use our framing service we know your portraits will be mounted and displayed to full effect, and will stand the test of time.

What you MUST NOT do is buy your own frame and insert a print without first having glue mounted the print to card. Over time the picture will ripple behind the glass and once rippled the picture will be damaged beyond repair.

And not just any old glue! Many release fumes that attack the frame or print, so it's important to use "photographic neutral" bonding agents.

Also beware "bargain" frames and mounts - many are cut from acidic materials that degrade the finished picture over time.

We use only one professional framing supplier in the Scottish Borders because his work is in our view consistently top quality and fantastic value. Allow three weeks typically for delivery, and complete satisfaction.
