The Asian Wedding Show kicked off the 2010 Show season in style.

Marie was joined at Balfron by Catherine who was raising funds for Kippen Brownies by selling Christmas trinkets.

After great demand from exhibitors Stirling Wedding Show Organiser Marie Kerr was delighted to confirm that March 2010 Show stand spaces have now gone on release.
"We've got a healthy reserve list of people wanting to take part" said Marie "And our repeat exhibitors from 2009 want to know their spot's confirmed so it makes sense to firm up stands early for everybody's benefit. The first Show adverts have already been booked - it's amazing how quickly it all comes around again! We should have well over 60 exhibitors lined up for 2010 so the Show looks like being the place to head for great choices, quality and value for money!"

Following the huge success of the inaugural 2009 Stirling Wedding Show in the city's Albert Halls, Organiser Marie Kerr of Kippen based Kingdom Photos is delighted to confirm that dates have been booked for the 2010 Stirling Wedding Show.
"Put Sunday March 28th and Sunday September 19th in your diaries now" said a delighted Marie "Following terrific response from the public and exhibitors we've agreed to make the Show a regular event. We always felt Stirling was big enough to host it's own Show and we're just stunned with the support and encouragement we've had from this inaugural event. Obviously now we'll be working hard to make sure the 2010 Shows are bigger and better than the first, and bring Stirling's brides-to-be the very best in all matters wedding!".

"The support and encouragement we've had throughout the planning and preparation for the Show has been amazing, and the day itself went without a single hitch. All the brides-to-be were enthusiastic in their feedback - I've been confident all along that Stirling is big enough to host it's own Wedding Show, and today that belief was repaid by the fantastic turnout. Benjamin Roberts fabulous designer gowns are to be the centrepiece of the Bridal Catwalk parade at the Stirling Wedding Show on Sunday September 13th in the City's Albert Halls.
"We're simply delighted to have a selection of these beautiful gowns available to us for the Wedding Show" said Margaret Berrie of Altar Images in Bridge of Allan, who is choreographing and organising the catwalk show "These are some of the most exquisite dresses available, beautifully finished using the finest silks and materials, any bride-to-be will look her best in a Benjamin Roberts gown".

Supermodel 09 winner Christina Chalk has followed up the success of last year's winner Holly Fairfull by being offered a professional modelling contract by Scotland's top modelling Agency "The Look".

Over 2 months to go and exhibitor space for The Stirling Wedding Show has sold out at The Albert Halls.
After a full dress rehearsal, Albert Halls' management were able to confirm space could be made for just 6 more exhibitors.

"Fantastic competition" said Miss Scotland "And great to see the quality of entry and high standard of turnout of the entrants. There are definitely others here tonight who have real potential and Scotland's number one Agency The Look will be in touch. Well done everybody involved."

Miss Scotland will be in The Stirling Arcade tonight to announce the winner of Search for a Supermodel 2009.

"Absolutely delighted Christina has done so well" said Marie Kerr "So many girls that entered Supermodel have done so well from the experience and exposure. Christina has terrific looks and I'm confident will go much further".

2008 Supermodel finalist Chelsea Rankine has made it to the final of the New Face of Scotland modelling competition run by the Daily Record.

"I'm just delighted for Chelsea, I never doubted she has what it takes" said a jubilant Marie Kerr of Kingdom Photos "I know she's developed so much in the last year like many other finalists - it's so important to keep trying. The portfolio I shot for her at our Kippen studio is currently with a major Agency so big things could be about to happen for this very special lady".

Designer outlet Aroshi of Balfron joined forces with Peaches Bridalwear and Lingerie of Killearn to put on a Fashion evening in Buchlyvie on 14th May in aid of Crossroads Caring Scotland.

Liz Urquart of Crossroads and Maureen Meredith of Aroshi, the Organisers, thanked all those attending for their support.

Over £1100 was raised on the night, a fantastic achievement.

Judy Murray (mum of UK number 1 seed Andy) officially opened the new courts and season at Kippen Tennis Club on Sunday 10th May.
Pictured with MSP Bruce Crawford, Club President Mark Quinn, past President Richard Boyd and others, Judy praised the amount of effort and commitment to raise the funds required, and encouraged youngsters to get involved in tennis early.
"We really appreciate Judy coming along today" said Mark "And Bruce and the public bodies and private contributors who've worked so hard with us down the years. Thanks to everybody who's made this happen - you've only got to look at the number of local children enjoying tennis to see it's all been worthwhile."

Thursday April 30th. The Kippen Flower Show fundraiser. Fantastic evening - fashion, lingerie, bridalwear. Kingdom Photos were delighted to be asked to provide event coverage.
Over £1000 was raised on the night.

In response to requests from frustrated amateurs and also semi-pros, Kingdom Photos now offer 1 to 1 training to help you get the best from your camera, or try out equipment such as the Canon 5D mk2, Canon Speedlites and pro lenses, filters or Bowens studio lighting before committing to purchase.
Come along to our Kippen studio (by appointment only) and learn how to improve your skills - whether it's camera kit, Photoshop skills, or to learn posing techniques with one of our models we cater for all skill levels.

For the third year running (ouch!) Kingdom Photos committed to sponsor their home village of Kippen's Playgroup and Toddlers fundraiser, held in April annually.
"We are delighted to be involved again" said Marie Kerr "This event is very close to my heart. When my children were tots Playgroup was struggling financially and we came up with a Fun Run fundraiser as an alternative to teas and scones or raffles. Well done all the mum's for keeping it going, and to all who participate in the event. The village youngsters really benefit from pre-school socialising and Playgroup's great for first time mums building a circle of friends especially if new to the area."

At the village's Silent Auction Fundraiser on Friday 27th March Kingdom Photos were delighted to help with a donation of a Photoparty for 3, including professional makeover.
The event was well supported and raised a substantial amount for the two good causes it supported.
"Over £4400 was raised which will be split between the Village Hall fund and Kikambala school in Kenya (which is twinned with Kippen Primary)" said Kippen schoolboy Angus Hepburn, event organiser "And I'd like to say a big thank you to all who donated prizes and time, and all who turned up on the night and made the event such a success"

New for 2009. In response to the growing number of companies who request good looking girls and boys to model for them, and also the great looking guys and girls who've modelled for us and would love to get more experience, we've launched the Kingdom Photos Model register.
